ECG / HOLTER
A 12-lead electrocardiogram (abbreviated as “EKG” or “ECG”) is available at Delhi and Noida facilities. It is a simple test that can be used to check your heart's rhythm and electrical activity. Sensors attached to the skin are used to detect the electrical signals produced by your heart each time it beats. These signals are recorded by a machine and are looked at by a doctor to see if they're unusual.1 A health care provider might use an electrocardiogram to determine or detect irregular heart rhythms (arrhythmias), blocked or narrowed arteries in the heart (coronary artery disease). You may need an ECG if you have chest pain, dizziness or lightheadedness, heart palpitations, rapid pulse, shortness of breath, weakness or fatigue.2
The Holter monitor (also called “Holter”) is available at Delhi and Noida facilities. It is a type of portable electrocardiogram (ECG). It records the electrical activity of the heart continuously over 24 hours or longer while you are away from the doctor's office.3
