The BioFire® FilmArray Joint Infection (JI) Panel is a rapid, multiplex PCR test designed to identify the most common pathogens and key antimicrobial resistance markers associated with joint infections such as septic arthritis. It analyzes synovial fluid and delivers results in about 2 hour, making it far faster than traditional culture methods. This test involves 29 bacteria, 2yeast, 8AMR genes.
