Doppler obstetric ultrasound combined with biophysical scoring is a comprehensive assessment of fetal well-being. Doppler evaluates blood flow in the umbilical artery, fetal vessels, and maternal circulation to detect compromised perfusion or fetal hypoxia. Biophysical scoring assesses fetal movements, tone, breathing, and amniotic fluid volume to calculate the Biophysical Profile (BPP). Together, these non-invasive techniques provide functional and hemodynamic information, helping identify high-risk pregnancies, monitor fetal status, and optimize timing of delivery to ensure maternal and fetal safety.
