1. What is Serology?
A serology test is a laboratory blood test that detects and measures antibodies or antigens in the blood to determine whether a person has been exposed to, infected by, or developed immunity to a particular disease.
2. Do I need fasting?
Fasting is not required.
3. How long do reports take?
Mon-Sat, sample before 1pm report same day and sunday report next day.
4. Why this test is important ?
Dengue NS1 antigen (NS1 Ag) is a non-structural protein secreted by the dengue virus during the early stages of infection. Testing for NS1 Ag allows for rapid and early diagnosis of dengue fever, even before antibodies develop.

The Turnaround Time (TAT) depends on the following factors:

  • Registration date and time
  • Type of scan or test
  • Scan time or sample collection time

In uncommon circumstances, TAT may be delayed due to test complexity or reasons beyond our control. You will be informed of the estimated TAT at the time of registration.
