Preparation / Prerequisite
2 mL (1 mL min.) Serum from 1 SST for each timed specimen.
Draw baseline specimen after an overnight fast. Patient should be at rest for 30 minutes prior to basal sample collection. Administer Glucose orally 1.75g/kg body weight (maximum 75g). Draw additional specimens at 60 & 120 min. for Growth hormone. Ship refrigerated or frozen. All containers must be clearly marked with time drawn and submitted with one test request form.
