An X-ray of the pelvis is performed to evaluate the bony structures of the pelvic girdle, hip joints, and surrounding regions. It is useful for:Detecting fractures of the pelvis, acetabulum, and hip bones after trauma. Assessing hip joint alignment, joint space narrowing, and deformities. Identifying degenerative changes such as osteoarthritis or avascular necrosis. Evaluating congenital or developmental abnormalities, e.g., dysplasia. Detecting inflammatory conditions, infections, or tumors involving pelvic bones.

The Turnaround Time (TAT) depends on the following factors:

  • Scan time or sample collection time

In uncommon circumstances, TAT may be delayed due to test complexity or reasons beyond our control. You will be informed of the estimated TAT at the time of registration.
