About This Test
This study includes both anteroposterior (AP) and lateral views of both knees. Together, these views provide a complete assessment of the knee joints,. The AP view shows joint space, bone alignment, arthritis changes, and early deformities. The lateral view complements it by showing patellar position, joint effusion, and fracture details that may not be visible on AP images. This combination is ideal for evaluating injuries, , degenerative joint disease, and post-operative assessment. It is also widely used for comparing symmetry between both knees.
