The Urography With Renal Angio (Scan Charges Only) study combines non-contrast evaluation of the urinary tract with detailed imaging of the renal arteries using angiographic techniques. Although performed without contrast, the scan provides important structural information about the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and renal vasculature. It helps identify kidney size, shape, position, stones, masses, or anatomical variations, while also offering a basic assessment of the renal artery pathway. This study is commonly used for screening patients with suspected renal artery narrowing, congenital vascular variations, or structural urinary abnormalities when contrast cannot be administered. It is particularly useful for patients with kidney impairment or contrast allergies. While the angiographic portion is limited without contrast, the scan still offers valuable information for initial evaluation. High-resolution images guide clinicians in determining the need for further contrast-based angiography or additional diagnostic testing, making it a safe and effective preliminary assessment tool.
General instructions For All CT
- Bring old records- text reports, films, CD.
- Please rule out pregnency as it is a contraindication.
- Appointment is desirable.
- Pl remove jewellery at home for safety purpose.
- For plain CT : No fasting and no creatinine / eGFR blood test required.
- For Contrast CT : Need 4hrs fasting and eGFR blood test report (done within 30 days).
- Thyroid scan ( Of NM deptt) to be done before contrast CT
- For Pregnant patient - Risk-benefit assessment. Look for any alternative test with no radiation.
Bring Photocopy of doctor precription & photo ID proof (Aadhar card, Voter id & driving licence) for PNDT requirements. - Appointment desirable.

- Scan time or sample collection time
