This scan evaluates the arteries of the upper and lower limbs, performed under scan-only billing without contrast. It maps vessels including subclavian, brachial, radial, femoral, popliteal, and tibial arteries. The scan is essential for detecting blockages, narrowing, aneurysms, or trauma-related vascular issues. It is commonly recommended for patients with leg or arm pain, non-healing ulcers, diabetes-related circulation problems, or suspected peripheral artery disease. High-resolution imaging provides detailed information for diagnosis, surgical planning, or follow-up evaluation. Although contrast is not included, the scan offers clear anatomical details, and contrast can be administered later for enhanced vessel visualization. The procedure is non-invasive, fast, and safe, helping physicians plan interventions like stent placement or bypass surgery and monitor vascular health effectively.
