Preparation / Prerequisite
No seminal discharge for 3-5 days prior to the test semen collection in the laboratory container by masturbation. Do not use any other container or condoms for collection.
Immediately prior to collection, patient should urinate, wash genital area with warm water and dry the part. Collect the entire ejaculate. Specimen must be kept at body temperature (shirt pocket- 37°C) after collection.
