About This Test
Glucose PP measures the blood glucose level 2 hours after a meal (after breakfast/glucose). It evaluates how the body handles the rise in blood sugar after eating. This test is used to detect diabetes mellitus, monitor blood sugar control in known diabetics, check response to diabetes treatment. PP sugar is often more sensitive than fasting sugar in detecting early diabetes
