The AMH Blood Test is a reliable, cycle-independent marker of ovarian reserve. It helps evaluate fertility status by regulating the number of follicles remaining in the primordial pool, predict response to IVF, and diagnose PCOS or premature ovarian failure. In males AMH is secreted by the sertoli cells of the testis and responsible for the regression of the mullerian duct and the normal development of the male reproductive tract.
