About This Test
A Blood Culture & Sensitivity (Automated) test is done to detect bacteria or fungi present in the bloodstream. This test is critical in diagnosing bloodstream infections (BSI) and sepsis. In Automated system, there is continuous monitoring blood sample to detect microbial growth faster and more accurately.
