About This Test
It is an enzyme immunoassay for the qualitative measurement of IgG class autoantibodies against cardiolipin/beta-2-glycoprotein 1 in human serum. The assay is intended for in vitro diagnostic use only as an aid in the diagnosis of antiphospholipid syndrome, SLE & related disease, thrombosis , thrombocytopenia and habitual abortions. Elevated anti-Cardiolipin antibodies may occur in individuals with no evidence of clinical disease.
