Frequently Asked Questions
A serology test is a laboratory blood test that detects and measures antibodies or antigens in the blood to determine whether a person has been exposed to, infected by, or developed immunity to a particular disease.
Fasting is not required.
Sample before 10am mon, report same day.
The APLA IgM test is crucial for diagnosing Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS) by detecting antibodies that cause abnormal blood clotting, which leads to serious issues like recurrent miscarriages, stillbirths, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolisms, strokes, and heart attacks, helping doctors manage these risks and improve long-term health outcomes for affected individuals.
TAT Policy
The Turnaround Time (TAT) depends on the following factors:
- Registration date and time
- Type of scan or test
- Scan time or sample collection time
In uncommon circumstances, TAT may be delayed due to test complexity or reasons beyond our control. You will be informed of the estimated TAT at the time of registration.
