The Ion AmpliSeq ™Cancer Hotspot Panel v2 is a multiplex PCR-based library preparation method by which 207 amplicons covering approximately 2,800 COSMIC mutations from 50 oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes are selectively analyzed. Based on the results of the mutations and changes identified, targetted therapy may be given to the patient.
