Also Known As:
Streptococcus Group B and E.coli K1 are the two most common causes of Neonatal sepsis while in older age group the commonest isolates are H. influenzae Type B, S. pneumoniae and N.meningitidis A, B, C, Y and W135. Early identification of these infecting agents helps in providing patients with appropriate antibiotic therapy.
