Lemon is a citrus fruit which can cause allergy if you eat the fresh fruit or drink the fruit juice or come in contact with its peel. It is rich in Citric acid and can cause skin irritation. You can also develop skin blisters. Lemon juice, rind & peel are used in a wide variety of foods & drinks. Symptoms include intense tingling or itching of lips, tongue & throat, coughing, sneezing, stomach pain and vomiting.
