Also Known As:
Dog dander is made up of dead skin cells, hair & saliva which have a special protein which can cause allergy. This protein is different in different breeds. So you can be allergic only to certain dog breeds and not to all dogs. Skin rash appears if you have been licked by a dog. You can have coughing, wheezing & asthma if you inhale the dog dander floating in the air around you. Children with dog allergy can develop eczema.
