About This Test
For patients requiring solid organ transplants like liver or kidney, Complement Dependent Cytotoxicity (CDC) crossmatch is set up between recipient and donor to check for the presence of complement dependent Anti HLA antibodies. Crossmatch is performed at 4°C to check for cold agglutinins and at 37°C . This test is also performed for all Cadaver donor transplants.
