The HLA Single Antigen Bead (SAB) assay is a highly sensitive and specific test that identifies IgG antibodies against individual HLA antigens of Class I (HLA-A, B, C) and Class II (HLA-DR, DQ, DP). It is the gold-standard test for detecting donor-specific antibodies (DSA) and is critical for safe organ transplantation and long-term graft survival.
TAT Policy
The Turnaround Time (TAT) depends on the following factors:
- Registration date and time
- Type of scan or test
- Scan time or sample collection time
In uncommon circumstances, TAT may be delayed due to test complexity or reasons beyond our control. You will be informed of the estimated TAT at the time of registration.
