Some individuals cannot tolerate gluten and suffer from medical conditions like Celiac disease, Wheat allergy or Non-Celiac gluten sensitivity. Celiac disease can have serious health consequences and leads to malnutrition. Wheat allergy is common in children and causes nausea, vomiting, diarrhea & eye irritation. In Non-Celiac gluten sensitivity, there is no allergy to wheat or Celiac disease but these people feel uncomfortable after eating gluten.
