Chronic eosinophilic leukemia & Myeloid/Lymphoid neoplasms with eosinophilia show mutations of Platelet derived growth factor receptor (PDGFRA, PDGFRB) or Fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR1) genes. This panel helps to differentiate Chronic eosinophilic leukemia from Idiopathic hypereosinophlic syndrome which lacks identifiable genetic abnormalities.
