MRI of the pelvis is a type of scan that uses strong magnets and radio waves to create clear pictures of the inside of your body, specifically the pelvic area. This includes organs like the bladder, uterus, ovaries, prostate, and surrounding muscles and bones. Doctors use this scan to help diagnose issues like pelvic pain, tumors, cysts, infections, or other problems with soft tissues. It’s especially helpful for checking problems with the reproductive organs, such as fibroids or endometriosis. The exam usually takes about 30 to 40 minutes.

Fasting is not mandatory except for  un-coperative patients where sedation may be needed ( 4-6 hours fasting) Prior appointment desirable. Non MR compatible Pacemaker .For contrast administration (CEMR) renal status to be assesed. Please bring latest reports of blood urea and creatinine (if available). Please bring along the prescription , all previous records & investigation reports (including images & soft copies, if any

    SIEMENS Magnetom Amira are installed at the Delhi and Noida facilities. They come equipped with the latest syngo software, high-density coils, aiding you in obtaining excellent image quality and increased patient comfort. MAGNETOM Amira’s Neuro Suite includes advanced protocols for diffusion imaging, perfusion imaging, and fMRI. Bone and joint imaging and breast examinations are enabled by Tim 4G’s ultra high-density coils  to improve resolution and anatomic coverage. With the Angio Suite, excellent MR Angiography can be performed to visualize arteries with or without contrast agent. With the combination of the high-density spine and body matrix coils alone MAGNETOM Amira enables excellent multiparametric imaging of the prostate in terms of morphology, physiology, and function. Protocols are available to be adapted for imaging infants.1

  • Registration date and time
  • Type of scan or test
  • Scan time or sample collection time

Please note that in uncommon circumstances, TAT may be delayed due to the complexity of the test or reasons beyond our control. You will be informed about the estimated TAT at the time of registration or after completion of the test.
