MRI
Screening Shoulder
About This Test
Screening the shoulder is a simple way to check how well the joint, muscles, and surrounding tissues are working. It helps identify early signs of weakness, tightness, or irritation that could lead to pain or limited movement. The clinician starts by looking at posture—checking if the shoulders are rounded, uneven, or sitting too far forward. They may gently feel the shoulder muscles to find tender spots, swelling, or tight areas.
