Hip Joints Both Sides Contrast -Delhi

MRI

Hip Joints Both Sides Contrast

About This Test

Detailed images of the hip’s bones and soft tissues. It shows the ball-and-socket joint, the cartilage, labrum (a ring of tissue around the socket), ligaments, tendons, muscles, and nearby nerves. Doctors often order a hip MRI when someone has hip pain, stiffness, clicking, or trouble walking. It can help diagnose labral tears, arthritis, tendon or muscle injuries, bursitis, cartilage damage, fractures not seen on X-rays, and conditions like avascular necrosis (loss of blood supply to the bone). During this step, a small amount of contrast dye is usually given through an IV for more clear information.
