Bleeding Time

The Bleeding Time (BT) test measures how long it takes for bleeding to stop after a small standardized skin puncture. It helps evaluate platelet function and the initial steps of the blood clotting process. Prolonged BT may occur due to low platelet count (Thrombocytopenia) or there may be a higher risk of bleeding during surgery or injury.

    HEMATOLOGY

    The hematology department at SARAL DIAGNOSTICS is equipped with state of art machinery including two fully automated 5 part cell counters,automated coagulometers,equipments for ESR,gel methdology for blood grouping and automated HPLC system.

    Hematology forms the baseline for diagnosis ,treatment and follow-up for various diseases.

    All tests are under the scope of NABL accreditation and senior pathologists are available to ensure quality.

TAT Policy

The Turnaround Time (TAT) for a test depends on the following factors:

  • Registration date and time
  • Type of scan or test
  • Scan time or sample collection time

Please note that in uncommon circumstances, TAT may be delayed due to the complexity of the test or reasons beyond our control. You will be informed about the estimated TAT at the time of registration or after completion of the test.
