MCH test tells you how much hemoglobin each red blood cell carries on average.It is a component of the Complete blood count (CBC)/ Hemogram test. It helps classify anemia based on RBC hemoglobin content. If MCH is low, it is due to iron deficiency anemia , If MCH is high, it is due to folate or Vitamin B12 deficiency.
