About This Test
Study done to evaluate distal small bowel an colon segment from ileosomy before reconnecting the bowel. leakage of contrast is to be ruled out. Also used to look for pstency of bowel and rule out strictures. Patient may experiencediscomfort and mild pain during procedure. Imaging is done intermittently and contrast is follwed upto rectaum / anal canal.
