Radiology

Also Known As:

CECT Angiography Abdominal + Both lower limb

This CT angiography evaluates the abdominal arteries and both lower limb arteries using intravenous contrast dye, which enhances vessel visibility. The test provides a complete map of major vessels supplying the abdomen, pelvis, thighs, knees, and feet. Contrast allows doctors to clearly detect blockages, stenosis, plaque buildup, aneurysms, or any abnormal vessel formations. It is highly recommended for patients with severe leg pain, non-healing ulcers, diabetes-related poor circulation, suspected deep vein or arterial problems, or peripheral vascular disease. The scan helps in treatment planning for angioplasty, stent placement, or bypass surgery. It offers accurate measurement of vessel diameter, blood flow patterns, and structural changes. This angiography is also useful for monitoring previously treated vessels or post-surgical repairs. The procedure is quick, non-surgical, and provides highly detailed images essential for vascular assessment and long-term management

  • Type of scan or test
  • Scan time or sample collection time

Please note that in uncommon circumstances, TAT may be delayed due to the complexity of the test or reasons beyond our control. You will be informed about the estimated TAT at the time of registration or after completion of the test.
