Also Known As:
ct thoracic angiography

About This Test
This scan combines chest imaging with thoracic angiography under scan-only billing, providing high-resolution images of pulmonary arteries, thoracic vessels, heart, and surrounding structures. It helps detect aneurysms, stenosis, blockages, or trauma-related vascular abnormalities. The scan is indicated for patients with chest pain, suspected vascular disease, or pre-surgical evaluation. While contrast is not included, the images allow clinicians to assess vascular anatomy and plan further contrast-enhanced procedures if necessary. The procedure is non-invasive, fast, and safe, providing detailed information for accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and monitoring of thoracic vascular conditions.
