Angiography Pulmonary with CT Chest (Scan Charges Only)

Also Known As: ct pulmonary angiography Ct PA ct pulmonart trunk angio

About This Test

This scan evaluates pulmonary arteries along with a CT of the chest. It maps pulmonary arteries and veins, as well as lung structures, helping detect embolism, stenosis, aneurysms, or trauma-related vascular issues. It is recommended for patients with shortness of breath, chest pain, suspected pulmonary embolism, or prior cardiopulmonary conditions. High-resolution images provide critical diagnostic information for physicians to plan treatment or further contrast-enhanced studies. The procedure is non-invasive, fast, and safe, offering essential information about lung vasculature and overall chest anatomy without the need for immediate contrast administration.

condition.

Ans- Most scans take 5–10 minutes.

Ans-Yes. CT scan is a safe imaging test. However, it exposes you to a small dose of radiation. For most people, such a small potential risk far outweighs the benefits, in terms of saving your life. The radiation dose is controlled and kept within safe limits.
