About This Test
A Scanogram is a specialized imaging technique used primarily for precise measurement of limb lengths and skeletal alignment. The scan captures high-resolution straight-line images of the lower limbs, upper limbs, or spine to assess discrepancies, deformities, and structural abnormalities. It is especially useful for evaluating conditions such as limb length inequality, developmental disorders, post-traumatic deformities, and orthopedic planning for corrective surgeries. The scan provides accurate measurements from fixed bony landmarks, helping physicians identify even minor differences that may affect posture, gait, or musculoskeletal balance. Pediatric and orthopedic specialists commonly recommend this study to monitor growth-related issues or to plan interventions such as epiphysiodesis or limb-lengthening procedures. Because the technique uses a low radiation dose and offers exceptional precision, it is ideal for serial follow-up examinations. A Scanogram is quick, non-invasive, and essential for clinical decision-making involving alignment and limb-length evaluations.

condition.
Ans- Most scans take 5–10 minutes.
Ans-Yes. CT scan is a safe imaging test. However, it exposes you to a small dose of radiation. For most people, such a small potential risk far outweighs the benefits, in terms of saving your life. The radiation dose is controlled and kept within safe limits.
TAT Policy
The Turnaround Time (TAT) depends on the following factors:
- Registration date and time
- Type of scan or test
- Scan time or sample collection time
In uncommon circumstances, TAT may be delayed due to test complexity or reasons beyond our control. You will be informed of the estimated TAT at the time of registration.
