About This Test
The Glucose Panel (Fasting & Post-Prandial) includes two essential blood glucose tests 1. Fasting Blood Glucose (FBG) – After 8–12 hours fasting
2. Post-Prandial (PP) Blood Glucose – 2 hours after a meal
This panel evaluates the bodys glucose regulation both at baseline (fasting) and after food intake. This test helps in screening for diabetes mellitus, detect prediabetes, Monitor blood sugar control in diabetic patients.

Preparation / Prerequisite
Overnight fasting mandatory. Collect fasting specimen. Ask patient to have a normal to heavy meal. Note the time patient finishes meal. Collect PP sample between 1.45 hrs to 2 hours.
