About This Test
An Extended Lipid Profile is an advanced blood test that measures a wide range of blood lipids (fats) to assess the risk of heart disease, stroke, and metabolic disorders.
It includes all basic lipid parameters plus additional markers that provide a more detailed cardiovascular risk assessment.
Parametera included in the profile are Total Cholesterol, HDL Cholesterol, LDL Cholesterol, Triglycerides, VLDL Cholesterol, Non-HDL Cholesterol, Apolipoprotein A1 (ApoA1), Apolipoprotein B (ApoB), ApoB / ApoA1 Ratio, Lipoprotein(a).
