About This Test
Cardiac Enzymes test helps to evaluate suspected heart muscle injury (myocardial infarction / cardiac ischemia). This panel includes CPK, CPKMB, LDH,SGOT,TROP T test. These enzymes help us to diagnose or rule out acute myocardial infarction, evaluate chest pain, monitor severity of cardiac muscle damage, detect reinfarction (CPK-MB helpful due to short half-life), assess muscle damage from other causes.
