Iron profile (Including Iron, TIBC, Ferritin)
Also Known As:
Iron Studies
Iron Study
About This Test
The Iron Profile is a comprehensive panel that measures three key markers of iron status:
1. Serum Iron – amount of circulating iron
2. TIBC (Total Iron Binding Capacity) – the blood’s capacity to bind and transport iron
3. Ferritin – the body’s iron storage protein
Together, these tests help diagnose iron deficiency, iron overload, monitoring Iron Therapy and other disorders affecting iron metabolism.
Test Parameters (5)
- FERRITIN, Serum
